  • Was born on December 29, 1961 in the city of Volzhsk of the Volgograd region.

  • In 1983 graduated from the Moscow institute of engineers of railway transport and till 1990 worked in laboratory of the systems of production communication of Chermetavtomatika institute.

  • In 1990. Kamensk defended the master's thesis on the subject "Development and Research of Integrated Communication Systems for the Enterprises" in Moscow Technical University of Informatics and Communications (MTUCI). In 1991 completed postgraduate studies at MTUCI. Candidate of Technical Sciences.

After the termination of a postgraduate study worked at All-Union research institute of ferrous metallurgy in Systems of Production Communication laboratory.

In the early nineties the distribution channel of the office station Definity in Russia created.

  • In 1997. Kamensk it was appointed the technical director in Russia Lucent Technologies selected from American AT&T, and in 1998 became the First Deputy CEO and the sales director of the company in the region.

Directed the project of creation of the backbone optical network numbering more than 1 thousand optical Lucent elements for Transtelecom company, an implementation project in the Russian Federation of technology of mobile communication CDMA2000 1X (IMT-MC) in the range of 450 MHz.

In 2000 Dmitry Kamensky headed Lucent in Russia and the CIS countries.

  • In 2006 after merge of Lucent to the French Alcatel the company replaced the name with Alcatel-Lucent.

  • In July, 2008 Kamensk passed to a position of the vice president and general manager on Central and Eastern Europe of other telecom vendor - Starent Technologies.

After Starent was sold in Cisco, Kamensk Cisco was appointed by the director of the region of Central and Eastern Europe. "After entry into Cisco Starent became division of mobile Internet technologies (mobile internet technologies) for which work I was responsible", - the Kamensk CNews told.

  • On August 9, 2011 the Juniper Networks company announced Dmitry Kamensky's appointment to a position of the regional vice president in Russia and the countries of Eastern and Southeast Europe (RESE region). Dmitry Kamensky is responsible for development of sales and business in the field of solutions for telecom operators and the enterprises and to submit to Sean Dolan, the senior vice president in the region of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Kamensky explains the solution about job change with obtaining "the interesting offer with the bigger level of independence".

Territorially Kamensk will work from Vienna where he lives in the last several years. The top manager is not going to move to Russia, he told CNews.
