Graduate of mekhaniko-mathematical faculty of the Tomsk State University.

In a beginning of the career was engaged in calculations of flights of spacecrafts.

Directed the Saratov office EPAM Systems.

Work experience in IT as of 2016 – about 40 years, from them more than 30 years on the leading positions.

2016-2017: Criminal case

In September, 2017 the Investigation department of the IC RF across the Saratov region reported that Grigory Karpov was found guilty of commission of the crime provided by Part 3 of Article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (bribery to the official personally in a considerable size for commission of obviously illegal failure to act).

The court verdict to it imposes fine in the amount of 300 thousand rubles. About imprisonment in the message of Investigation department of the speech does not go.

According to the investigators, the employee of supervising department checked the Saratov branch Epam Systems and found violations of the labor law: in bodies the notification at acceptance was not timely sent to the company for work of the former government employee. Grigory Karpov delayed time for notification, and for this administrative offense the penalty in the amount of more than 100 thousand threatened.

That on the company did not make the administrative report, the branch director offered the public prosecutor's worker five desktop computers. It gave to personally senior assistant of the prosecutor of Kirovsky district of the city of Saratov a bribe in the form of five sets of desktop computers to total amount over 30 thousand rubles.

The employee of supervising department announced this offer to the administration and in police. During transmission of a bribe in the hall of one of Karpov's business centers the staff of UFSB of Russia in the Saratov region delayed. It gave computers personally.
