According to investigators, in 2019, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bashkortostan purchased the drug "Triptorelin" in the amount of more than 3.7 thousand packages for a total amount of over 51 million rubles. At the same time, the amount purchased was about 10 times higher than the real need for a drug to provide patients in medical institutions of the republic. As a result, 1,670 packages of medicines with a total value of more than 10 million rubles have expired, thereby causing damage to the budget of the republic by the above amount, the news agency reports.^[1]
