Korotkov Andrey Vikentyevich

Biography

Was born on June 3, 1954 in Sevastopol. Doctor of Economics and Candidate of Philology.

Since 1996 directed the Department of Government Information (DGI).

The curator of the FTP Electronic Russia Korotkov became in 2002-2003 as the First Deputy Minister of Communications in a command Leonid Reiman.

After the appointment the Deputy Minister of Telecom and Mass Communications Korotkov noted that creation of digital library of the state documents, using which will become the most important purpose of Electronic Russia could get online access to the state information interesting him using the uniform government portal.

In 2003-2006 Korotkov worked as the senior vice president and the curator of department of information technologies of VTB.

In 2006-2008 was the adviser to the head of federal passenger directorate of the Russian Railway.

In 2008 Andrey Korotkov headed department of global information processes and resources of MGIMO. In this quality he investigated a subject of applicability of international conventions about rules of conducting combat operations to conducting wars in a cyberspace.

Since 2010 Andrey Korotkov headed the Russian association of developers freely of software - RASPO.

On February 10, 2012 died in Moscow on the 58th year of life.

It is buried at the Don cemetery of Moscow on February 14, 2012^[1].
