2014-2018
In 2014-2018 - Chief Engineer - Deputy Head of the Kartalinsky LPUMG Department of Gazprom Transgaz Yekaterinburg LLC.
In 2018, he became the head of the Pisarevsky LPUMG, and later the chief engineer - the first deputy general director of Gazprom Transgaz Volgograd LLC.
2023: Appointment as CEO of Gazprom Transgaz Yugorsk
On July 12, 2023, Gazprom Transgaz Yugorsk announced the appointment of Alexei Kshesinsky as the new CEO of the company. Earlier, for 11 years, the largest gas transmission organization of Gazprom was headed by Pyotr Sozonov. The reasons for the personnel changes are not explained in the official statement.
The change in leadership of Gazprom Transgaz Yugorsk LLC was announced two months after the incident, when gas ignited during repair work on the Yamburg-Yelets-1 gas pipeline. As a result of the emergency, six people were injured, one worker died on the spot. A criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Article 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of industrial safety requirements for hazardous production facilities, resulting in the death of a person by negligence). According to preliminary data, the fire occurred during repair and restoration work.
Gazprom Transgaz Yugorsk transports gas from fields in the North of Western Siberia (Medvezhy, Urengoy, Yamburg, Zapolyarny and others) to consumers in the European part of the country.[1]
