Along with study in NSU, Vladimir Lebedev began the labor activity in Computer Center of SOAN USSR where participated in the project of creation of the first CRONUS Soviet 32-bit microprocessor. In 1990 founded the Soviet region of amateur telecommunication network FidoNet. Since 1993 worked as the engineer at Institute of the systems of information science of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Science.
From 1995 to 2000 Lebedev took part in the project of creation and development of RTS Stock Exchange, holding all these years a post of the Technical director of "the Technical Center RTS".
In 2000 passed to work into the Moscow representative office of Lucent Technologies where held a number of positions from the manager of technical support of sales to the Deputy Technical director.
