2022: Appointment as CEO of Natura Siberica

On January 13, 2022, natural cosmetics manufacturer Natura Siberica announced the appointment of Felix Lib as the new CEO of the group, as well as all its member companies. Prior to that, he worked as executive director of AFK Sistema.

The first wife of Natura Siberica founder Andrei Trubnikov (died in January 2021) and co-owner of 40% of the company Irina became an adviser to Felix Lib. She noted that her views on the further development of the company coincide with the new chapter. And she associates "special hopes" with interest in the business of AFK Sistema.

According to Irina Trubnikova, who leads the company, including thanks to the arrival of a new CEO, it is planned to attract new investments to the company and increase its share in the cosmetics market.

Felix Lieb himself, commenting on his appointment, said that among the immediate tasks of the company's management are optimization of business processes in production and its expansion, optimization of wholesale and retail sales, the development of R&D with the aim of launching new products on the market and updating the marketing strategy.

This is a well-known brand with a high-quality product, an understandable promising segment. Probably, AFK has a strategy for further scaling this business, they see the potential for a significant rise in the price of an asset, so it will be a long-term investment, "Dmitry Gabyshev, managing director of Peregrine Capital, told Kommersant.

Infoline Analytics CEO Mikhail Burmistrov added that Sistema operates effectively in the consumer sector and owns a large stake in Ozon. He estimated the cost of the cosmetic company at $70-100 million. Burmistrov clarified that the deal is most likely difficult to structure, and the amount is tied to specific promising indicators.^[1]

2024: Buying a stake in Natura Siberica

In early July 2024, it became known that the chairman of the board of directors of Natura Siberica (brands Organic Shop, "Recipes of Grandmother Agafya," Organic Kitchen, Planeta Organica) Felix Lib became a co-owner of the company, receiving a 1.42% stake in it.
