In 1978 graduated from library faculty of the Kemerovo state institute of culture.
Since 1980 worked in NSU library as the librarian of the reading room.
From 1984 to 1996 directed the biggest department of library – department of service.
In 1996 received a position of the manager of scientific library of Novosibirsk State University.
In 1999 became the director of scientific library of Novosibirsk State University.
For November 24, 2016 Lyudmila Anatolyevna Lyagushina works as the director of scientific library of Novosibirsk State University.
