2022: Appointment as CEO of the Nizhfarm plant of the Stada group

In August 2022, it became known about the appointment of Larisa Matveeva to the post of General Director of Nizhfarm JSC (part of the Stada group of companies). In this post, she replaced Stefan Eder, who a few months earlier was appointed head of the global company Stada in all European markets.

According to the press service of Stada, legally in Russia everything remained unchanged and Intafy Eder continued to hold the position of executive vice president of the company in Russia and the CIS.

Thanks to the impressive results that were achieved by Stefan Eder and the team under his leadership in Russia and the CIS, Stefan received a promotion and became the head of the global company Stada in all European markets, the group said in a statement.

According to the information on the company's website, before her appointment, Larisa Matveeva was vice president for legal affairs, ethics and relations with the state authorities of Stada in the Russia and CIS region. It has been operating in the pharmaceutical market for more than 10 years (by August 2022). Prior to joining Stada, Matveeva held senior regional and country positions in major international companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Honeywell and Novartis. In particular, for 10 years she worked as a director for legal issues and compliance with the procedures of the Novartis group of companies in Russia.

Stada is a German manufacturer of generic drugs and over-the-counter drugs, products are presented in 120 countries (by August 2022). In Russia, there are more than 150 types of drugs in the Stada portfolio; here the company owns Nizhfarm. The most famous are the series of nasal care products "Aqualor," vitamins "Vitrum," the heart drug "Cardiomagnil," various products in the form of suppositories, ointments ("Pantenol," "Levomecol," "Vishnevsky balm"), etc.[1]
