2012-2018

Odile Moll joined Ashan Retail Russia in 2012. She began her career as the head of the sector, later managed one of the hypermarkets in Moscow. In 2018, she was appointed a member of the company's board.

2021: Appointment as President of Ashan Retail Russia

On December 10, 2021, the Russian representative office of Auchan announced the change of president of the company. Instead of Philip Brochar, Ashan Retail Russia was headed by Odile Moll, who since January 2021 has served as vice president. This position will be abolished after Moll leaves, the retailer said. Odile Moll is also a member of the strategy committee of the Auchan Group, according to a press release.

In 2022, Russia plans to work on current and new projects focused on the development of digital technologies and improving customer experience, she said, commenting on her appointment as president of Ashan Retail Russia.

The company itself expressed the hope that the rich experience and knowledge of Odile Moll will help the retailer continue to progress and realize new tasks.

As for Philippe Brochard, he will continue to work in the retail group as CEO of Ashan France. Broschar headed the Russian representative office of the retailer since January 2021. Thus, he worked as the head of Ashan Retail Russia for less than a year.

By the beginning of 2021, Ashan had 256 stores in Russia. By the beginning of November of that year, the chain included 63 hypermarkets, 32 superstores (smaller stores than hypermarkets), 137 supermarkets - a total of 232 stores. It turns out that during the year the retailer closed 2 hypermarkets and 22 supermarkets.  The number of employees of Ashan Retail Russia exceeds 33 thousand employees (data as of December 10, 2021).^[1]
