2022: Appointment as CEO of Uvenco
In early February 2022, it became known about the appointment of Anna Mukhametova to the post of general director of the Uvenco group of companies instead of Arvidas Alutis, who headed the largest vending machine operator in Russia for about two years.
"Kommersant" Arvidas Alutis named the reasons for his departure from Uvenco - the reorganization of the group and the desire to relax and go into his own business, in particular, the Arvy fitness club, which was badly damaged due to the coronavirus pandemic. In COVID-19 Uvenco, personnel changes were explained by the "adjustment of the development strategy."
Before heading Uvenco, Anna Mukhametova worked in other structures of the owner of the group, Borisakh Belotserkovsky: for example, she headed the Inflight Interior Group, which publishes Aeroflot onboard magazines and serves S7 magazine.
The general director of Infoline Analytics, Mikhail Burmistrov, notes that the meaning of inviting a person from retail is to develop new projects that require competencies that the company did not have, in the case of Uvenco, the Self self-service kiosk network, which is more difficult to scale than conventional machines. But in conditions of instability and expansion of remote work, the development of the project was seriously complicated, he notes. According to the expert, for Uvenco, the Self network required separate logistics, assortment, procurement, which is difficult to implement without economies of scale.
By February 2022, Uvenco manages about 15 thousand vending machines, a network of self-service kiosks, a Unicum equipment factory, distributes coffee, etc.
Mikhail Burmistrov in a conversation with the publication noted that the main advantage of the classic vending machine is due to the presence of long-term storage products, which does not create problems with write-off even during idle periods.[1]
