Biography

1983: The beginning of work in Accenture

Pierre Nanterm began work in Accenture in 1983, having become the partner in 1993. Mr. Nanterm graduated from Higher School of Economics of ESSEC in Paris.

Nanterm ran different divisions of Accenture, including Financial Services (Financial services) in Europe, Africa and Latin America, the main operational division of Financial Services (Financial services) in Europe, the industrial Insurance group (Insurance) and also practice of Strategy (Strategy) in Western Europe.

2005-2007: Managing director of the French division of Accenture

Mister Nanterm also worked as the managing director of regional division of Accenture in France from November, 2005 to August, 2007.

Since 2006 Nanterm worked as the chief executive officer of the company, being responsible for formation of strategy of Accenture.

Since September, 2007 Mr. Nanterm heads one of business of the Accenture directions - Financial Services (Financial services) within which the company provides the services to participants of financial market, banks, insurance companies.

2010: Appointment of Accenture as the head

On December 15, 2010 - Accenture announced the decision of Board of Directors to appoint to the position of the chief executive officer Pierre Nanterm. He will enter a position since January 1, 2011. Pierre Nanterm was a part of Board of Directors of the company from the moment of the declaration of appointment.

2017: Earnings in $19.8 million

In 2017 Pierre Nanterm earned $19.8 million from a post of the CEO of Accenture.

2019: Departure from the job of the head of Accenture because of cancer

On January 11, 2019  kompaniyaaccenture, rendering services in the field of management consulting, information technologies  of an iautsorsing,  announced resignation of the CEO Pierre Nanterm. It is noted that the head left for health reasons.

In 2016 doctors diagnosed a colon cancer for Pierre Nanterm. Then performed on it operation on removal of a tumor.

After Nanterm's leaving from a post of the CEO of Accenture this position was temporarily occupied by the chief financial officer of the company David Rowland who by the time of appointment works in Accenture about 35 years. The financial director it became in July, 2013, and now its place was taken by K.S. KC McClure who is responsible in Accenture for financial transactions.

Pierre Nanterm headed the company since 2011. He was also a chairman of the board of directors.

Accenture reported that Nanterm transformed the company and played an important role in transition to digital, cloud and cybersecurity services of which more than 60% of income by the beginning of 2019 are the share.

According to personnel the reorganization started after Nanterm's leaving from a post of the CEO, the leading independent director Marge Magner is appointed the nonexecutive chairman.^[1]

Other activity

Out of work in Accenture mister Nanterm is the chairman of the French technical federation (SYNTEC), and since September, 2005 - the commission chairman on economic problems of the French association of entrepreneurs (MEDEF).
