Nikitin Nikolay Fedorovich

Was born on January 1, 1950 in the village of Orudyevo of Dmitrovsky district of the Moscow region in family of the serviceman.

In 1973 graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute majoring in "the mechanical engineer on aircraft construction" then it was directed to work in experimental design bureau to them P.O. Sukhy.

From 1973 to 1992 – work in experimental design bureau of P.O. Sukhy. The organizing talent, profound engineering knowledge and commitment to favourite case allowed Nikolay Fedorovich to pass for this period a way from the engineer to the chief designer of experimental design bureau. With its direct participation the best-known was created in the 20th century and the most commercially successful of the SU airplanes – the multi-purpose SU-27 fighter on which the last 25 years the Russian fighting aircraft keeps. It is that project to which Nikolay Nikitin gave the most part of life, having started in it as the assistant to the lead engineer on flight tests of the first flight sample SU-27 and, finally, having become the chief designer of SU-27M and also the SU-35 fighters developed on its base and SU-37MP.

From 1992 to 1997 – the deputy chief designer of ANPK "Sukhoi Design Bureau", JSC Sukhoi Design Bureau.

From 1997 to 1999 - the First Deputy CEO of Sukhoi Aviation Military Industrial Complex and the board member of the Sukhoi Design Bureau which is a part of Sukhoi Aviation Military Industrial Complex.

Since February, 1999 the order of the Government of the Russian Federation it is appointed the CEO – the chief designer of MAPO Military Industrial Complex which in December, 1999 after structural reorganization is renamed into RAC MiG.

Almost in 5 years of work (till November, 2003) Nikolay Nikitin managed from separate legal entities – the serial plant and CB – to create vertically integrated corporation capable to make all cycle of works, from development of the military aircraft equipment before its production, deliveries and an after-sale service. Deliveries of fighters to export were resumed, and in 2002 became RAC MiG the subject of VTS, the second after Rosoboronexport, on supply rates of arms abroad.

During Nikitin's work RAC MiG of the first of military corporations began to implement the strategy of diversification of production, having invested money from export of fighting MiG to the civil Tu-334 project.

In 2004 – the CEO of Avtotor-Holding company. Capital asset of the company – the Kaliningrad car assembly plants releasing the cars BMW, Kia and others.

From 2005 to 2007 – the chief consultant of NKB Fintekhproyekt LLC (Moscow).

In 2007 – the managing director of Department of non-financial assets of JSC VTB Bank.

From 2007 to 2008 – the First Deputy CEO of UK PMK Ltd (Perm Motors Group).

Since October, 2008 – the chief executive of JSC SNTK im. N. D. Kuznetsova.

Since February, 2009 chief executive of all three enterprises of the Samara bush of JSC UK UEC: JSC Motorostroitel (since April, 2010 - JSC Kuznetsov), JSC SNTK im. N. D. Kuznetsova and JSC Samara Design Office of Mechanical Engineering. Member of Boards of Directors of JSC SNTK im. N. D. Kuznetsova and JSC Samara Design Office of Mechanical Engineering.

Nikitin N.F. is a winner of the State award of the USSR in science and technology for creation of Su-27 aviation complex, the winner of the award "Gold Idea" in the "For a Personal Deposit, an Initiative and Diligence in Solving of Tasks of Military and Technical Cooperation" nomination.

The honored designer of the Russian Federation, Candidate of Economic Sciences, professor, the head of the department at the Moscow Aviation Institute.
