Biography

1994-1995

In 1994 the hierodeacon Dimitrii arrived the novice in Danilov the monastery, and on December 7, 1995 accepted monastic tonsured.

2020: Death from COVID-19 coronavirus

On May 7, 2020 Danilov's hierodeacon of the men's stavropigialny monastery Dimitrii (Nikolaev) died. A cause of death — the complications caused by COVID-19 coronavirus.   The monastery website reports about it.

The deputy of the monastery Bishop of Solnechnogorsk Alexy (Polikarpov) in a conversation with TASS explained that at Dimitrii's hierodeacon there were warm complications because of which probably and there came death.

The head of publishing council of the St. Petersburg metropolitanate of Russian Orthodox Church abbot Siluan (Tumanov) reported that Danilov's monk of the monastery caught for Easter.

The house-keeper Danilova of the monastery abbot Innokenti (Olkhovoy) told TASS that the hierodeacon Dimitrii who was in the monastery an ustavshchik "dealt with liturgical issues". By May, 2020, according to the abbot, Danilov the monastery uses the charter which was made in detail by the hierodeacon Dimitrii. He was an author of the collection "The Psalter and Canons Chtomy on Deceased" which appeared in monastic publishing house "Danilovsky Blessed Messenger".

In the Danilovy monastery the residence of the patriarch and the synod and also Synod department of external church relations of the Moscow patriarchy is located.[1]
