2023: Media Disclosure of Name and Biography
On November 21, 2023, Газета.ру revealed the name and details of the life of the leader of the pro-Russian hacker group Killnet, which has repeatedly attacked NATO infrastructure. According to the publication, the real name of the hacker known on the darknet as Killmilk is Nikolai Nikolaevich Serafimov. He was born on May 16, 1993.
This information was confirmed to the newspaper by hackers Abbadon and NET-WORKER, founder of the Dark Femida project Pyotr Vrublevsky, as well as a Газеты.ру source from law enforcement agencies. Abbadon claims that Serafimov has a criminal record under Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for the illegal production, sale and transportation of drugs and psychotropic substances. Serafimov was serving his sentence in IK-2 in Bashkortostan.
Former Killmilk associates describe the hacker as an excellent manipulator with excellent social engineering skills, able to motivate people and mobilize them around their goals. The interlocutors also note his outstanding brand management skills, thanks to which he successfully creates and implements information products.

Information about who was hiding behind the pseudonym Killmilk was exposed in an information attack on Killnet that peaked in late October and early November 2023. As a result, an alliance of hackers and hacktivists opposing Killnet and Killmilk was created.
"Газете.ру" managed to contact Nikolai Serafimov himself. He refrained from commenting in detail and only asked the journalist to disclose the source of the data, explaining this by concern for the safety of his family. According to the publication, the hacker is married, he and his wife have BMW 520i and Porsche Panamera cars.[1]
