Interfax reported on the change of the head of the Bunge CIS company with reference to the data of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRUL). It also follows from it that Zhirnov also holds the post of general director of the company "ExOil Group," the shareholder of which is the new owner of the Russian representative office of Bunge - businessman Karen Vanetsyan. As general director of Bunge CIS, Zhirnom was replaced by Andrzej Ruzhitsky, who led the company since December 2019.

The agency recalls that on February 13, 2023, Bunge CIS officially changed its owner. An agreement on a deal with Vanetsyan was reached in September 2022. He owns the company through Agroinvest LLC, registered in August 2022.

Bunge invested about $130 million in the Masloextraction Plant in the Voronezh Region, which was part of the deal. The facilities of the enterprise are designed to process 540 thousand tons of raw materials and produce more than 200 million bottles of sunflower oil per year. The portfolio of Bunge CIS LLC includes the trademarks Oleina, Ideal, Maslenitsa, etc.[1]
