Was born on April 22, 1952 in Kirov, Russia.

Education

1975 - graduated from mate faculty of Academy of civil aviation in Leningrad as "Engineer-navigator"^[2].

Career

Till 1985 Tu-154 worked in the Sverdlovsk joint aviagroup of the Ural Department of Civil Aviation as the navigator of the airplanes An-24, An-12.

1985 - it was transferred to work in Central office of the international air traffics (Moscow). Flew the navigator by the airplanes Tu-154, Il-86, An-124, worked as the leading navigator-mentor of the center of training of aviation personnel of Aeroflot company.

Since 1995 - the board member of Aeroflot company.

1996 - the First Deputy CEO of Aeroflot company.

On May 30, 1997 - it is elected the CEO of JSC Aeroflot-Russian International Airlines, having received 92.7% of votes at general shareholder meeting.
