2020: Appointment as the director of digital transformation of Avtomatika concern

The Avtomatika concern had the first director of digital transformation what it was announced at the end of July, 2020. This position was held by Valery Ostrovsky.

Before becoming the director of digital transformation of holding, Ostrovsky worked as the deputy manager of the office of the CEO of concern. Before he worked on executive positions of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications and in security agencies of Russia.

On a new position Valery Ostrovsky first of all will deal with issues of automation of intraeconomic activity of Automatic equipment for successful integration into a digital medium of the state. He will initiate participation of holding in the state programs in the field of digital economy assuming creation of hi-tech products is told in the message of concern.

According to Ostrovsky, the main directions of digital transformation of Automatic equipment will be stated in the concept, the work on which is going to be completed at the end of July, 2020. It is the strategic long-term document which implementation will help to carry out assigned tasks, he emphasized.

At the same time we, first of all, will consider the needs for automation of those types of activity which will be able to transform our holding to more hi-tech, effective and competitive — the director of digital transformation of Automatic equipment said.

The CEO of Automatic equipment  Vladimir Kabanov noted that digital transformation of holding is directed to increase in efficiency and competitiveness due to upgrade of intra holding processes and their gradual integration in digital processes of the state. Will enter Valery Ostrovsky's tasks implementation of the digital technologies changing models and management processes and implementation of business activities of the company, he noted.^[1]
