Biography

Was born in Irkutsk.

Studied at school No. 57.

Education

1974 – 1979 — the Irkutsk state university

1979 – 1983 — the graduate student of extramural studies of department of algebra and logic of the Irkutsk state university

Career

1979 – 1990 — the assistant, the senior teacher of department of algebra, logic and cybernetics of mathematical faculty of the Irkutsk State University.

1990 - 1998 — the associate professor of algebra, logic and cybernetics of mathematical faculty of the Irkutsk State University.

1999 – 2001 — professor of department of algebra, logic and cybernetics of mathematical faculty of the Irkutsk State University.

2001 – 2003 — the head of the department of discrete mathematics and information science of Institute of mathematics and economy of the Irkutsk State University.

2001 – 2012 — the head of the department of mathematical information science of faculty of mathematics, physics and information science of the East Siberian state Academy of Education.

Since March 27, 2012 — the rector of VSGAO.


For April 2, 2013 works as the rector of the East Siberian State Academy of Education (ESSAE).

Achievements

1987 — the master's thesis in dissertation council of Institute of mathematics with computer center of the Moldavian AN. Thesis "Indistinguishability, completeness and resolvability positive theories"

1998 — the doctoral dissertation in dissertation council of the Irkutsk State University. Thesis "Existence and complexity of representations of boolean functions formulas".

Awards

2007 — "The honorary worker of the higher and professional education of the Russian Federation" is awarded with the breastplate

Scientific interests

Discrete mathematics and logic theory, in particular, theory of boolean functions, discrete transformers of information, theory of models and applications.

Hobbies

Chess, soccer, preference.

Family

Married. There is a son, Gleb.
