Was born on April 2, 1961 in the village Fertile Hvalynsky district of the Saratov region, Russia.

Education

1994 - graduated from the Saratov institute of mechanization of an Order of the Badge of Honour of agriculture of M.I. Kalinina in "Mechanization of agriculture" with qualification assignment "Mechanical engineer"^[2].

Scientific degree

2004 - at the Saratov State Technical University (SSTU)^[3] defended the dissertation on the subject "The Strategy of Social Management by the Municipal Entity in Transitive Society"^[3].

1980 - 1982 - underwent conscription service in the Soviet army.

Began a labor activity with the mechanical engineer's position.

2012: Governor of the Saratov region

March 23, 2012 - The decree of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev it is appointed the acting as the governor of the Saratov region.

On April 2, 2012 - the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev suggested the Saratov region duma to appoint Valery Radayev the governor of the region.

On April 5, 2012 - it is confirmed by the Saratov region duma to the post of the governor of the Saratov region and officially entered a position^[4].

March 17, 2017. The decree Russian President V.V. Putin it is appointed the acting as the Governor of the Saratov region before taking office of the person elected the Governor Saratov region.

On September 10, 2017 it is elected the Governor of the Saratov region (voted pro 74.63% of voters).

On September 21, 2017 officially entered a position of the Governor of the Saratov region.

Public activity

On October 15, 2010 - took part in planting of saplings of pines within the project of Youth parliament at the Saratov region duma and the interregional ecological organization "EKA" "More oxygen!"^[5].

On June 23, 2012 - took part in opening of the Day of Areas trade fair^[6].

On December 25, 2012 - participated in the celebration devoted to the coming 2013 which was held in the Government of the region^[7].

On April 9, 2013 - participated in a grand opening of kindergarten in the downtown - Bee in Balashov^[8].

On April 12, 2013 - participated in celebrations on the Gagarinsky field^[9].

Hobbies

Among hobbies - hunting and fishing.

"There is no hobby as such. More likely, it is active holiday if there is free time. The most memorable case happened in this year. I managed to shoot a wolf. Experienced, huge. Was in the neighboring region in a business trip. As they say, there was an opportunity. Also did not gather for hunting. So it turned out that this copy contacted directly me. It was very terrible. The wolf ran on me, in a gun two boss. It was succeeded to recharge a gun and to shoot. I had such close contact with an animal for the first time. Though I hunted wolves in Krasnoarmeisky district. Hunting for this animal very interesting. But such strong tension as that time, I yet did not test"^[10]
