Biography

2012-2025

Sahabiev graduated from the Kama State Engineering and Economics Academy with a degree in Automotive and Tractor Engineering, as well as the Institute of Public Administration, Law and Innovative Technologies with a degree in Organization Management.

Sahabiev began his career in 2012 at CNN Kamaz Industry LLC as a quality controller. Then he joined Ford Sollers Elabuga LLC, where he went from engineer to director of engine production. In 2020, he led the power plant and chassis projects at Aurus, after which he returned to Ford Sollers Elabuga for a senior position. Since November 2021, he headed the Zavolzhsky branch of UAZ LLC, and in October 2022 he was appointed general director of RosALIT Foundry LLC. In 2023, he became the general director of the Zavolzhsky Motor Plant (PJSC ZMZ). He headed the projects for the production of new diesel engines and gearboxes "Sollers."

2026: Appointment as UAZ CEO

Ilnur Sahabiev was appointed to the post of General Director of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ LLC). In this position, he will replace Alexei Spirin, as announced by the Sollers group on January 27, 2026.

At the same time, Spirin, who headed UAZ before the appointment of Sahabiev, moves to the post of Deputy General Director of PJSC Sollers for Production and Quality. Its position involves the introduction of a unified production system, production and quality management standards in all industrial projects, as well as control over the implementation of the production program.

At the moment, we are implementing the largest projects in the history of Sollers to launch the production of new cars, create new component industries, complex reengineering and modernize industrial sites of UAZ and ZMZ. Such a volume of transformations in such a short time requires the maximum concentration of our management resource and the demand for the unique competencies of our managers for all industries and all projects at the same time, "said Adil Shirinov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sollers PJSC at the end of January 2026.[1]
