Career

2025: Appointment as Head of Sveza Timber Holding Company

On July 16, 2025, the Russian multidisciplinary holding Sveza, specializing in woodworking, the production of cardboard and paper products and the production of packaging products, announced the appointment of Svyatoslav Sarson, general director of the group. In this post, he replaced Anatoly Frishman, who headed the company since December 2016.

The shareholders of the company express confidence that despite the personnel changes, Sveza will continue to further implement the planned strategy aimed at improving the efficiency and progressive development of the group, the holding said in a statement.

The company expressed gratitude to Frishman for many years of conscientious work, which allowed the company, despite the prevailing situation, to maintain the status of one of the leaders of the Russian timber industry. After the change of the general director, the controlling stake in Svese retains Fore Invest LLC (St. Petersburg), whose founders are top managers of the group and which owns 51% of the share in the authorized capital.

As of July 2025, Sveza includes one cardboard and paper and seven plywood mills, as well as three large enterprises for the production of cardboard packaging and specialized paper in Russia.
