2010: Leaving Intuit for a year
In 2010 Sasan Gudarzi left Intuit to head Nexant company. However less than in a year it returned to Intuit and became the Chief information officer. After it appointed the head of department of Intuit Consumer Tax Group.
2018: Appointment of Intuit as the head
On August 23, 2018 the American producer of the accounting software Intuit announced change of the CEO. It appoints Sasan Gudarzi who before within two years held a post of the executive vice president and general manager of division of Small Business and Self-Employed Group in the company.
50-year-old Sasan Gudarzi will replace 54-year-old Brad Smith who will officially resign the authority at the end of 2018 with positions of the head of Intuit.
In the message of Intuit it is noted that in 11 years of the management of the company of Smith the number of clients doubled up to 50 million, profit trebled, and revenue doubled. In 2017 financial year paid to Brad Smith a compensation packet in the amount of $17.1 million that is 14% more, than the previous year.
Intuit will pay Gudarzi about $9.3 million for work for positions of the CEO, considering "his capability inspire, carry out changes and develop highly qualified talented specialists", CNBC with reference to the statement of committee on payment of compensations of Intuit reports.
It is noted that thanks to Gudarzi revenue of Intuit Small Business Online Ecosystem in 2017 financial year jumped by 30%, and the number of users of QuickBooks Online increased by 58%, having exceeded 2.3 million[1]
In addition to change of the CEO, Intuit in August, 2018 announced departure of the technical director Tayloe Stansbury. Its place was taken by the senior vice president and the development director of products in division of Small Business and Self-Employed Group Marianna Tessel.
