2025: Appointment as CEO of Glavkosmos
On September 15, 2025, Anton Semin was appointed to the post of General Director of Glavkosmos (a subsidiary of the state corporation Roscosmos). In this position, he replaced Natalia Lokteva, who led the enterprise since February 2025.
Semin has been working in the aerospace industry since 2008. For 17 years, he held various positions in the Mera group of companies, where he went from specialist to sales director. In particular, Semin managed commercial and project activities. In addition, he was responsible for the implementation of projects for the reconstruction and creation of a bench test base at enterprises of the aviation and rocket and space industry, the creation of data collection systems and onboard systems for recording parameters from spacecraft.
As noted, Semin has experience in the successful implementation of projects in Russia and abroad. He was appointed to the post of general director of Glavkosmos by decision of the board of directors of this organization. At the same time, Lokteva was transferred to the post of first deputy general director of the company. It has more than thirty years of experience in the space industry, including the implementation of international space programs and projects. Since 2018, she has held leadership positions at Glavkosmos.
Glavkosmos calls its main task the promotion of the achievements of the Russian rocket and space industry to world markets and the management of comprehensive international projects. Over its history, the company has successfully implemented over 140 international contracts, including the launch of more than 300 spacecraft as a passing payload. Since May 2021, Glavkosmos has been the official operator of Roscosmos trademarks.[1]
