2024: Appointment as CEO of Uralbiopharm
At the end of July 2024, it became known that the deputy of the legislative assembly of the Sverdlovsk region, Alexander Serebrennikov (ex-owner of the Rainbow pharmacy chain), was appointed head of the Uralbiopharm enterprise. The new manager reported identifying problems with the company.
By July 2024, Uralbiopharm belonged to entrepreneur Malik Gaysin. Earlier, the company was nationalized by a court decision, which seized the shares of the plant worth 3 billion rubles in favor of the state. After that, Mikhail Maltsev became the new general director of the company - it was he who transferred the management of the enterprise by proxy to deputy Serebrennikov.
It is said that the Ministry of Industry and Science of the Sverdlovsk Region recommended replacing the head of the Uralbiopharm company in order to "restore order at the enterprise." At the same time, the Federal Property Management Agency set the new head the task of preserving the profile of the enterprise - this is the production of drugs. The company's product range includes drugs of various pharmacotherapeutic groups, traditional for Russian citizens, including vital ones, and modern brands designed for the symptomatic treatment of viral and colds.
According to the pharmvestnik.ru resource, Serebrennikov conducted an audit of the state of the enterprise. At the same time, problems "of a critical and systemic nature" were identified. Sedi they are called high wear and tear of equipment and real estate, economically inefficient use of personnel and unsettled relations with tenants. In order to improve the situation, it is planned to re-preserve one of the production sites, with the commissioning of which the capacity of the enterprise will increase. In addition, a number of employees will be laid off. A process was initiated to recover receivables from companies affiliated with the previous head of the enterprise through the court.[1]
