2024: Arrest in bribe case

At the end of April 2024, it became known about the arrest of the head of the laboratory of the Bryansk Clinical Diagnostic Center, who is accused of receiving a bribe on a large scale (paragraph "c" of part 5 of article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

According to the press service of the Investigative Department of the TFR in the Bryansk Region, on April 25, 2024, the head of the laboratory of the Bryansk Clinical and Diagnostic Center, being at his workplace, received a bribe in the amount of 160,000 rubles from the director of a commercial organization engaged in the wholesale trade in medical products. For monetary remuneration, he promised to ensure the conclusion by the department and medical institutions of the region of contracts for the supply of medical devices with organizations controlled by the bribe-giver.

According to the Bryansk media, we are talking about Sergei Lobarev. As the portal "Bryansk Grumpyun" writes, Lobarev is an Honored Doctor of Russia, the owner of the sign "Excellence in Healthcare." According to the press service of the Investigative Department of the TFR in the Bryansk Region, the accused at the time of the alleged crime was the main freelance specialist in clinical laboratory diagnostics of the Department of Health of the Bryansk Region.

A criminal case has been initiated. The court arrested the suspect until June 25, 2024.

According to the Bryansk Grumble, Sergei Lobarev was detained on the eve of an expanded meeting of the board of the Health Department of the Bryansk Region, which was dedicated to the results of his work in 2023 and the tasks for 2024. This event was attended by Deputy Governor for Medicine Andrei Bardukov and Director of Regional Health Sergei Galaganov. But Lobarev did not talk about the situation at the meeting, the publication says.^[1]
