Biography
Sergey Sergeyev was born in 1960 in the Tver region. In 1986 with honors graduated from the Riga highest military-political school of Marshal of the Soviet Union of Biryuzov with a gold medal, in 1997 - the Moscow legal institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Since 1978 served in Armed Forces. In 1992 came on service to law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation.
Worked more than 10 years to the special shelf of traffic police and in Management of traffic police of the Municipal Department of Internal Affairs of the Moscow region including as the deputy chief of UGIBDD, at the same time heading organizational analysis department. Supervised work of a control room, search of transport, was engaged in organizational and analytical work, security of traffic when holding mass actions.
In 2003 it is appointed to the position of the head of department of traffic police of the Municipal Department of Internal Affairs of the Moscow region.
In 2007 received an academic degree of Candidate of Law Sciences - defended the dissertation on a subject: "Administrative legal status of traffic police as subject of control and supervising legal relationship". Sergeyev is the author of a number of publications in the legal press.
In 2011 by the decree of the President of Russia it was appointed to the position of the head of the department of material and medical support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation with assignment of a special rank - the major general of internal service.
In 2014 to it the rank of the lieutenant general was given.
In January, 2015 the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Yury Chaika signed the order on Sergey Sergeyev's appointment to a position of the head of department with affairs of supervising department.
