2019: Appointment of MSI as the CEO

In the beginnings of April, 2019 it became known of appointment Chaîne-chen Chan as the new president and the CEO of MSI. The Taiwan producer of computer component parts updated leadership team in general.

Our chairman of the board of directors Joseph Hsu and the vice-chairman Jeans Huang (Jeans Huang) completely delegated powers on decision making to new management team to join in in good shape and to save its flexibility — the newly made CEO Chaîne-chen Chan told the DigiTimes edition.

According to him, new top management consists generally of heads who work hard in MSI years and "have good experience of interaction with each other".

The head of the company called the most important task coordination of all personnel of MSI to increase efficiency.

With respect thereto to a new command some time can be required to reveal weak points and to eliminate them. For MSI development of strategy and preserving of leadership in the game market will be priority … Now all personnel of MSI still adapt to a transient period and changes in management therefore any serious changes in structure of business of MSI will not be yet — he noted in an interview which was published on April 1, 2019.

In a conversation with journalists Chang pointed that MSI is possible to cope with falling of the world market of computer monitors, placing emphasis on game devices which bring three times more margin in comparison with traditional models.

Speaking about a business impact of aggravation of trade relations between China and the USA, the CEO of MSI reported that the company helps clients to look for new production sites. The company is not going to move production of the server hardware out of borders of China, and in a case with motherboards and the video cards MSI increases a share of the most productive solutions to compensate the decrease in deliveries caused partly by increase in prices.^[1]
