2025: Sending to SVO
On February 25, 2025, it became known that Perm IT entrepreneur Roman Shirokov, who is accused of complicity in the contract murder of businessman Alexander Lukov, went to the SVO. In this regard, his criminal prosecution has been suspended.
According to investigators, according to RBC, the general director of the company "Lodochka" Lukov was shot dead in October 2003 by an unidentified killer commissioned by a business partner Ruslan Shardakov. According to the materials of the case, Shardakov offered a friend, previously convicted captain and owner of the river tug Andrei Shirokov to organize the murder of Lukov for 500 thousand rubles. Shirokov, in turn, attracted his son Roman as an accomplice.
Law enforcement officers found that Roman Shirokov bought two mobile phones Samsung and four cards, the SIM balance of which he replenished using an exchange, cryptocurrencies Binance virtual exchange points CryptoGin and Freechenge. These devices were used to communicate between the organizer of the murder, Andrei Shirokov, and the performer.
Roman Shirokov was accused of complicity in the murder (part 5 of article 33, paragraph "z" of part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Instead of the dock, he chose to participate in a special military operation, as reported by his lawyer Larisa Alferova. At the same time, the accused does not agree with the version of the investigation.
As of February 24, 2025, Roman Shirokov is a co-owner of Grand LLC (creation of databases and information resources), in which he owns a 48 percent share. In addition, he is listed as the founder (50%) and director of Granit Capital Investment Company LLC (investments in securities), as well as an individual entrepreneur (consultations on financial intermediary issues).[1]
