2018: Appointment as General Director of PET Technology

In September 2018, it became known that the network of positron emission tomography centers "PET Technologies" appointed Igor Simonovsky as general director instead of, Diana Kobesova which continued to work in the company as managing director and will oversee the launch of new centers.

Before joining PET Technology, Igor Simonovsky worked in food retail. In particular, he managed operations in X5 Retail Group and the Dixie Group of Companies.

Vademecum was told about the change of general director at PET-Technology in the company itself and clarified that the personnel reshuffle occurred in mid-August 2018. The main management of PET-Technology, as well as the management of PET/CT centers and medical staff will continue to work in the same composition, the company assured.

Having become the managing director of PET-Technology, Diana Kobesova will be responsible for opening new diagnostic, production and radiotherapeutic centers of the network.

With the expansion of activities, it is planned to recruit specialists for managerial, medical and scientific positions, the press service of PET-Technology reported.

The company plans to launch 40 new nuclear medicine centers by 2025. More than 20 billion rubles will be spent on these purposes.

In particular, the full-cycle nuclear medicine center is planned to be organized on the basis of the PET-Technology unit in Yekaterinburg. In addition, in September 2018  , the diagnostic drug 68-gallium-PSMA began to be produced here.

If plans to expand the presence of the network are implemented, in which Diana Kobesova should try, then PET-Technology will include 51 nuclear medicine centers by 2025.  According to WHO standards, one PET should account for 1 million people, that is, Russia needs about 140 such installations.[1]
