Sokolov Alexander Nikolaevich is the mayor of Khabarovsk.
Biography
Alexander was born on June 13, 1950 in the village of Danilovka of Smidovichsky district of Khabarovsk Krai.
In 1967 graduated from school.
Worked as the mechanic's pupil at the plant of Gorky in Khabarovsk.
From 1968 to 1971 served in AF of the USSR.
Since 1971 worked as the fitter, the senior engineer manager, the senior production engineer.
In 1971 entered in absentia the Khabarovsk institute of engineers of railway transport, ended in 1980.
From 1974 to 1981 - worked in the Soviet, Komsomol bodies.
Since 1981 passed to party work and for 1983 worked as the manager of industrial and transport department of the Railway district committee of a batch.
In 1983 it is elected the secretary of Communist Party committee of the plant of Gorky.
In 1986 held the plant manager's position of Gorky.

In 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2013 Alexander Sokolov is elected the mayor of Khabarovsk.
