Biography
2023: Head of Glavkosmos
On September 19, 2023, the board of directors of Glavkosmos JSC (part of the state corporation Roscosmos) appointed a new general director. It was Ilya Tarasenko, who replaced Dmitry Loskutov in this post.
The official report says that Loskutov led the company for almost five years, during which Glavkosmos demonstrated consistently high economic performance, actively participated in a number of pilot projects of the state corporation Roscosmos, and in 2022 entered the top three major exporters in the service sector in the Central Federal District according to the All-Russian Exporter of the Year award.
Tarasenko was born on March 23, 1980 in Moscow. In 2002 he graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute, after which he came to work at the OKB P.O. Sukhoy. In 2005, he became director of the consolidated directorate of Sukhoi Company OJSC. In 2009, he moved to JSC RSK MiG, where he held the positions of Director for Program Coordination and First Deputy General Director. From 2014 to 2016, Tarasenko headed Sukhoi Civil Aircraft JSC. Since September 2016, he has been the General Director of RSK MiG JSC. Since October 2018, concurrently holds the position of Deputy General Director of PJSC "UAC" for military-technical cooperation.

The main goal of Glavkosmos is to "promote the achievements of the Russian rocket and space industry to world markets and manage complex international projects." It is expected that Tarasenko will help in the development of the relevant area.[1]
