Biography

Was born on February 23, 1978 in the city of Riga (Latvia).

Education

In 2000 graduated from the Chelyabinsk state medical academy.

Career

From 2000 to 2006 worked in the Chelyabinsk state medical academy, was engaged in teaching and medical activity.

From 2005 to 2007 - the associate director on financial and economic security of Modem LLC (in combination).

From 2007 to 2010 worked as the chief executive in Urological Clinic LLC where supervised questions of IT strategy of the enterprise.

In May, 2010 it was appointed the Chairman of the Committee information and the software of the Government of Chelyabinsk region.

In November, 2010 Dmitry Tarasov was appointed the minister of information technologies and communications of Chelyabinsk region.

In 2013 the ex-governor of Chelyabinsk region Mikhail Yurevich suggested it to head the regional Ministry of Health. After Tarasov's candidacy underwent approval in the government of the region and the Russian Ministry of Health, in May, 2013 he was appointed to the position of the Minister of Health of Chelyabinsk region.

About a year later, at the beginning of June, 2014, it became known of that, as. the lake of the governor of Chelyabinsk region Boris Dubrovsky granted Dmitry Tarasov's request for dismissal at own will from a post of the Minister of Health of Chelyabinsk region.

Earlier Tarasov expressed desire to practise medicine. Later couple of days after news of dismissal from the minister's position he was appointed the chief physician of city clinical hospital No. 1 for the sick leave note of her acting chief physician. It is known that the last in March, 2013 was brought to the administrative responsibility by Part 2 of Article 7.29 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offences and is fined 50 thousand rubles for signing of the contracts on repair of premises in medical institution without tendering.
