Biography

On January 20, 2020 General meeting of shareholders of VSK Insurance joint-stock company made the decision on election General the director of VSK of Alexander Yakovlevich Tarnovsky. According to requirements of the current legislation of the Russian Federation the decision on appointment becomes effective from the date of, the approval by the Bank of Russia of the candidacy of Alexander Tarnovsky following date to the CEO's position.

Alexander Tarnovsky will release Oleg Ovsyanitsky who worked as the CEO of 10 years from this duty. Oleg Ovsyanitsky will continue to work in governing bodies of VSK at a position of the board member and will supervise a number of strategic directions of development of the Company including questions connected with growth of business and work with key partners.

On the CEO's position Alexander Tarnovsky will be focused on the achievement of goals of strategy of VSK Insurance House and tasks requiring implementation of a number of basic changes: formation is high-quality other technology infrastructure and information technology development, creation of optimal managerial mechanisms, growth of personnel potential of staff of the Company.

Alexander Tarnovsky was born on February 17, 1979 in the city of Orgeev of the Moldavian SSR. Graduated from the Moldavian state university majoring in Right and Tver State University in "Finance and the credit". From 2010 to 2017 headed the VSK Tver branch. Under its management the branch took the leading positions in the region. Since 2017 held positions of the Deputy CEO for retail insurance and the Senior vice president, the Head of Department of regional development. Having extensive experience and deep understanding of all questions of an insurance activity on executive positions at head office, Alexander successfully implemented a number of large-scale projects on transformation of business and increase in process performance.
