2023: Appointment as Director General of the National Rating Agency

On April 1, 2023, the Director General of the National Rating Agency (NRA) Alina Rosenzvet resigned, and her place was taken by Tatyana Grigorieva, who had previously worked in the organization as a managing director.

According to TASS, citing the press service of the NRA, Rosenzvet does not plan to resign from the founders of the agency. According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRUL), Rosenzvet is by the beginning of April 2023 the largest shareholder of the NRA, its share in the authorized capital of the company is 31.4%.

The decision to make management changes is fully correlated with the NRA's course to reform the governance structure

The agency added that the decision to make management changes is fully correlated with the NRA's course to reform the management structure and apply best corporate practices.

According to Frank Media, citing sources close to the NRA, Tatyana Grigorieva in the agency oversaw issues of interaction with clients. As one of the interlocutors noted, the changes are related to the decision of Alina Rosenzvet to focus on strategic issues of the development of the NRA. Two talk about the possible personal motives of the top manager.

The Bank of Russia entered the NRA into the register of Russian credit rating agencies (KRA). By April 2023, the KRA register includes information about four agencies (in addition to the NRA, this is Expert RA, ACRA and NKR). At the beginning of this year, the NRA assigned 42 ratings to rated persons. Of these, 15 non-financial organizations, 14 credit institutions, 10 insurers and 3 leasing companies.

According to Kommersant, Russian rating agencies, having lost all foreign competitors in 2022, could not take their place. The total number of customers increased by only 5%, and revenue even less - by 3.9%. In 2023, the agencies hope to increase the number of customers mainly due to the entry of newcomers into the debt market, but experts believe that competition between players will only intensify.[1]
