2025: Appointment as CEO of Icarus

At the end of April 2025, it became known that in the Ikar group of companies, which is engaged in the development and production of unmanned aircraft systems and components, there were changes in the leadership composition. Evgeny Titov became the new president of JSC Ikar Group of Companies and the general director of JSC IC Ikar, which are part of AFK Sistema.

It is known that earlier Titov headed Kronstadt-Technik LLC, established by KT-Unmanned Systems JSC. However, he worked as the general director of this enterprise for a little more than three months - from January 15, 2025. What is the reason for the transition of Titov to a new place of work is not specified.

The Ikar group of companies, as noted on its official website, focuses on key areas of activity in the field of design and development of drones, as well as in the field of engineering solutions and research. The production is equipped with modern equipment for the production of different types of drones - from helicopter to multirotor types. The staff includes more than 1 thousand specialized specialists, of which over 500 are highly qualified engineers. The group includes its own design bureaus, production, testing and research centers.

Icarus was registered in 2002 as a joint venture of one of the world's largest manufacturers of commercial aircraft - Airbus and the Kaskol Investment Group and became the first design bureau created by Airbus outside the European Union. Since 2022, Ikar has been an asset of AFK Sistema, and since 2023 it has been engaged in the design and serial production of civilian unmanned aerial vehicles. The Ikar Engineering Center has expertise in the field of design work for Russian and foreign clients.^[1]
