Acting Head of the Komi Republic
On April 2, 2020, in connection with the statement of the Head of the Komi Republic, S.A. Gaplikov on early termination of powers, he was appointed interim Head of the Komi Republic until the person elected by the Head of the Komi Republic[4].
2024: Appointment as First Deputy Head of the Main Military Medical Directorate of the Ministry of Defense
In November 2024, Vladimir Uyba left the post of head of the Komi Republic and was appointed first deputy head of the Main Military Medical Directorate of the Ministry of Defense. The corresponding decree was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Uyba noted that the head of state entrusted him with a "new front of work at the federal level," and also thanked the government of the republic and the heads of municipalities for their joint work.
The Main Military Medical Directorate of the Ministry of Defense performs the following tasks:
- organization of construction of the medical service of the Armed Forces;
- maintaining its combat and mobilization readiness;
