Vasily Popov's career path to ride-hailing began in the inDrive service. Since June 2019, he has gone from head of analytics and head of market research to head of data. Vasily also has extensive experience in business management based on working with data: before inDrive, he managed to work in the banking sector and municipal administration.

2023: Appointment as CEO of Drivee

On November 1, 2023, the Drivee taxi ordering service announced the appointment of Vasily Popov as the new CEO of the company. He replaced Marina Arzhakova, who decided to take up her own projects.

Vasily Popov's duties will include the implementation of the company's current long-term strategy and the further development of the service in Russia. He joined the Drivee team in April 2023 as head of data analysis.

According to the press service of Drivee, during the work of Marina Arzhakova as CEO of the company, the service launched a new brand on the market, assembling an effective management team. In the first four months of operation, the Drivee application reached 3 million downloads. According to Popov, by the end of 2023, the application is becoming more and more popular in our country, thanks to a special approach to product creation and client service, built on the principles of mutually beneficial agreements and fair exchange.^[1]
