2023: The new head of the Omsk Directorate for Healthcare Services was arrested in a bribe case

In February 2023, the judge of the Kuibyshevsky District Court Nadezhda Pogrebnaya granted the petition of the investigator of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee for the Omsk Region to take into custody the director of the KUOO "Directorate for Servicing the State Health System of the Omsk Region" Vasily Girev and businessman Roman Achkurin until April 14, 2023. The defendants are charged with p. "C" part 5 of article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (taking a bribe) and p. "B" part 4 of article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (giving a bribe).

As reported on February 22, 2023, the press service of the Investigative Department of the TFR in the Omsk Region, in October 2022, in a car parking lot near one of the shopping centers in Omsk, the director of the state institution of the Omsk Region "Directorate for Servicing the State Health System of the Omsk Region" received 350 thousand rubles from an entrepreneur in the form of a bribe, having "sold" at an inflated cost his old 1995 Mercedes benz car, which was subsequently scrapped. Monetary remuneration was intended for the commission of illegal actions in favor of the bribe giver, namely, for assistance in concluding and paying state contracts.

The names of the accused in the TFR were not named, but KVnews was told in the court of the Kuibyshevsky District Court that it was Vasily Girev and Roman Achkurin.

According to the publication "Gorod55," Girev received a bribe for contracts for the supply of oxygen concentrators in block containers. Payment under these agreements took place in September 2022 to one of the local companies.

The publication analyzed the contracts that the Directorate for Servicing the State Health System of the Omsk Region concluded in 2022, and found only one contract for the supply of the very oxygen concentrators. So, in April 2022, the directorate represented by Vasily Girev and Aris Group LLC signed an agreement for almost 36.8 million rubles, where block containers with oxygen were listed as the object of purchase. On behalf of Aris Group, the director Azamat Koshkarbayev put signatures on the documents, the publication says.^[1]
