The Judicial Board of Criminal Cases of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Ugra Court changed the verdict of the court of first instance, excluding from it the reference to Art. 73 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, determined to consider Vishnyakov sentenced to 3 years 6 months in prison with a fine of 2,750,000 rubles with a sentence in a maximum security penal colony, the preventive measure in the form of a recognizance not to leave and proper behavior has been changed to detention.
The court of appeal, when making the decision, drew attention to the fact that the court of first instance did not take into account the commission by Vishnyakov of nine crimes within two years, three of which are especially serious, and six - serious, corruption crimes.[1]
