Gataullin Vitaly Kashafovich

Biography

Vitaly Gataullin was born in 1979 in Novocheboksarsk of the Republic of Chuvashia.

In 2000 he graduated from the Kazan Financial and Economic Institute named after V.V. Kuibyshev with a degree in Economics, in 2002 - Kazan State Financial and Economic Institute with a degree in Accounting, Analysis and Audit. In 2013, he also graduated from the Moscow Institute of Oil and Gas Business with a degree in Oil and Gas Business.

He began his career in 1999 as chief accountant of Soft-Trade.

At various times, from 2001 to 2008, he held the positions of chief accountant at Tekhnokom-Trade, Yamash UTT NGDU Yamashneft, Tatneft-MehService Management Company.

In 2009, he was appointed Deputy Director for Organizational Development of TMS Group Management Company.

Since October 2012 - Deputy General Director for Organizational Development of TagraS-Holding.

In October 2014, he joined TATNEFT as Advisor to the General Director for Organizational Development.

In June 2019, TATNEFT announced the appointment of Vitaly Gataullin as Deputy General Director for Digital Development. This is a new position in the company. Changes in the organizational structure in TATNEFT are explained in order to further improve the management system of the group's information technology unit.

To maintain its competitiveness, TATNEFT relied on high technologies and conducts a digital transformation of business and production. As part of management and organizational reforms, the company brings under new information platforms almost all of its business blocks - oil and gas production, oil refining, petrochemistry, power, sales structures, and oil service. As of 2019, among the key projects for digitalization of the company - the creation of 3D fields, the introduction of artificial intelligence, the creation and replication of digital "twins" of TATNEFT's production facilities^[1].

TATNEFT also has the position of the head of the information technology unit. It is occupied by Rustem Pavlov, combining this position with the position of director of the business service center of TATNEFT.

In July 2022, Vitaly Gataullin was replaced by Evgeny Zvezdin as Deputy General Director for Digital Development of TATNEFT.
