Interesting facts

2006 - bought out OJSC Pyatigorskselmash - once the largest in the USSR production of equipment for the industrial poultry industry[6].

2009 - Vladimir Polyakov was assassinated[7].

2012 - The Stavropol plant of Vladimir Polyakov's Monocrystal OJSC began construction of a plant for the production of metallization pastes in the Chinese city of Guangzhou. The plant in China will be the first foreign enterprise "Monocrystal"[8].

OJSC Concern Energomer Vladimir Polyakov acquired a 100% stake in PKF Atlas OJSC (a manufacturer of materials for the electronic industry). According to Polyakov, with the absorption of Atlas, Energomer Concern becomes the world's largest producer of artificial sapphire for high-tech applications[9].

Charity

2009 - donated funds for the construction of the Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, which is being built on the Fortress Hill of the regional center.
