2020: Appointment as the director of digital transformation of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine

In November, 2020 Evgeny Vladimirov is appointed the director of digital transformation (CDTO) of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine. On this position he will be engaged in implementation of electronic services, optimization of IT systems and the state registers and also digitalization of the most important processes in power, says Mintsifra.

Among priorities of the new deputy which are listed on the website of the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy:

  • classification of objects of critical infrastructure of the power industry;
  • development of the concept of cyber security of the power industry and actions plan;
  • development of strategy of digital transformation of the energy sector.

It is noted that the Ministry of Energy is going to develop cooperation with the international companies in the field of cyber security and digital transformations.

Officially Vladimirov's position is called "the Deputy Minister of Energy with issues of digital development, digital transformation and digitalization".

Before appointment Evgeny Vladimirov was the CEO of OO "International University of Cyber Security". He is a workgroup member concerning Minenergetiki's cyber defense, worked on the concept of cyber security of the power industry, reported in department.

Earlier in 2020 the minister of digital transformation Mikhail Fedorov said that the position of CDTO will appear in each ministry, regional administration, state company, the agency and other central executive authorities. Will approve appointment of CDTO in the Ministry of digital transformation.

Fedorov specified that the ministry already prepares the system of selection of managers, training, adaptation and the KPI system (key performance indicators).[1]
