Roundup The victim was William Melissen, who was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's. lymphoma
Bayer acquired Roundup as part of its $63 billion purchase of agrochemical company Monsanto in 2018. Numerous lawsuits have been filed in American courts alleging that Roundup contributes to the development of malignancies. However, Bayer says the substance is safe for people's health. In particular, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which inspected Roundup, concluded that glyphosate contained in a weed killer is safe when used carefully.

The man used this tool from 1992 to 2020. Non-Hodgkin lymphomas account for about 90% of all cases of cancer of the lymphatic system. The tumor process begins most often in the lymph nodes, but can manifest itself in other parts of the lymphatic system. Subsequently, metastasis to different organs occurs. As part of the case, the jury sided with the Melissens: they awarded Bayer $3 million in compensation and $75 million in fine.
