At the end of August 2024, Alexei Yusupov was appointed the new Minister of Housing and Communal Services, power, Digitalization and Communications of the Trans-Baikal Territory. The corresponding order was signed by the governor of the region, Alexander Osipov, according to the official Telegram channel of the government of the Trans-Baikal Territory.

Before heading the Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities, power, Digitalization and Communications of Transbaikalia, Yusupov was the head of the funeral department of the Ministry of Construction of Russia, according to the agency's website.

The Funeral Trust Telegram channel, which specializes in funeral services, reported that Yusupov began his career in management companies near Moscow owned by his father. And as the head of the funeral department of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation, without experience in this area, he took up the reform of the funeral industry, his department submitted to the State Duma a bill on the digitalization of the system for receiving burial benefits.

Alexey Yusupov was appointed Minister of Housing and Communal Services, power, Digitalization and Communications of the Trans-Baikal Territory instead of Alexander Sinkevich, who worked in this position for about three months. In mid-July, it became known about the possible resignation of the minister, but the government of Transbaikalia refused to comment on this information. Later it became known that the Minister of Housing and Communal Services, power, Digitalization and Communications of the Trans-Baikal Territory in the region began to look for an announcement.[1]
