In 1999, Mikhail Zakhryapin and Alexey Elagin founded Agnitum, which produced a personal firewall and antivirus under the Outpost brand. The technologies developed by the company within these solutions were licensed and used by such companies as Avast, AVG, Sophos, Novell, Security Code. In 2015, these technologies were acquired by Yandex and formed the basis of its solutions for effectively combating malware in downloadable files, phishing, traffic spoofing, theft of bank card data and other threats.
In early 2020, Cloud Advisor was founded by Mikhail Zakhryapin and Alexei Elagin.
