2024: Appointment as Director of Samarafarmatsiya

In early October 2024, the state government institution (GKU) of the Samara region "Samarafarmatsiya" replaced the general director: Zhanna Orekhova took this position instead of Alevtina Ignatova. This is evidenced by the data of the Kontur. Focus service, which Zdrav.Expert got acquainted with.

The press service of Samarafarmatsiya confirmed to the Samara Review the resignation of Ignatova and clarified that she had made such a decision herself. She headed the enterprise from February 2021.

The change of director of Samarafarmation took place a few months after the initiation of a criminal case on obstruction of entrepreneurial activity. This decision was made based on the results of an appeal to the prosecutor's office of the head of one of the firms, with which Samarafarmatsiya did not pay. As the supervisory authority explained, in July 2021, a state contract for the supply of ultrasonic imaging systems worth almost 47 million rubles was concluded between Samarafarmatsiya and a company whose name is not given. The contract was executed in October of that year. The equipment was accepted and put into operation in 11 district and city hospitals of the region. Subsequently, the customer decided to unilaterally refuse to fulfill the contract. The supplier appealed to the prosecutor's office with a complaint that they had not paid off with him.

In September 2024, Kommersant reported that law enforcement officers searched the Samarafarmatsiya State Public Institution in order to find out whether the company was associated with a possible restriction of competition at tenders for the supply of drugs to regional clinics. According to the publication, the search is connected with the investigation of four criminal cases against the head of PharmMed LLC Andrei Izyumsky, suspected of large-scale fraud in the supply of medical equipment to healthcare institutions in the Samara region. The defendant was detained in the spring of 2024.^[1]
