Biography

Was born in the city of Novokuznetsk of the Kemerovo region. The father is civil engineer, mother – the teacher of high school. In 1970 the family moved to the settlement Oryol the Agin district of the Chita region in connection with transfer of the father to a position of the chief construction engineer of the New Oryol mining and processing integrated works.

In 1972 the family moved to the permanent place residence to the city of Chita. Since 1972 Dmitry studied at high school No. 42 of the city of Chita from which graduated in 1982. The same year arrived on 1 rate of the Chita branch of HABIIZHTA in "Process management of transportations on railway transport".

In 1984 it is called in AF of the Soviet army. It is transferred to the reserve upon termination of the term of conscription service in June, 1986. In June, 1989 graduated from the Khabarovsk institute of engineers of railway transport (HABIIZHT) in "Process management of transportations on railway transport" and on distribution it is accepted to a position of the teacher of department of "Special disciplines" of the Chita branch of HABIIZHT.

From 1989 to 1990 Dmitry Zheleznov passed a training as the trainee-teacher of "Technology of Cargo and Commercial Work on Railway Transport" department of the Moscow institute engineers of transport.

From 1990 to 1994 studied at a day postgraduate study in "Operation of railway transport (including attention devices, centralization and blocking)". The solution of dissertation council of Moscow State University of means of communication (protocol No. 2 of April 6, 1994) awards an academic degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences.

In 1994 it is employed as the senior teacher of department of "Special disciplines" of the Transbaikal institute of railway transport (ZABIZHTA) of DVGUPS branch in the city of Chita.

Since 1995 it is appointed to the position of the dean of All-technical faculty of ZABIZHTA which held till December, 1999. On June 18, 1996 it is elected on tender to the associate professor's position of "Special disciplines".

From 1997 to 1998 fulfilled duties of the head of the department of Economy of ZABIZHTA.

In 1998 it is appointed the head of the department Process Management of Transportations (PMT) of ZABIZHTA.

From 2000 to 2011 (with a two-year break) held a position of the associate director of ZABIZHTA on research work.

Since April, 2011 - on the correspondence doctoral studies at UER and BT department, the scientific consultant the Dr.Sci.Tech., professor Baturin A.P. The thesis is submitted to dissertation council at FSBEI of a Higher Professional Education "Moscow State University of means of communication" D 218.005.07 on scientific specialty 05.22.08 – Process management of transportations.

In February, 2012 "The Irkutsk state transport university" began to work as the vice rector for study of FSBEI of a Higher Professional Education.

Married. Two daughters.

For December 13, 2013 Dmitry Valerianovich Zheleznov works as the rector of Samara State University of means of communication.
