At the end of May 2021, the Shadrinsky District Court of the Kurgan Region sentenced Yevgeny Zubov, head of the oncological department of the Shadrinsky Emergency Hospital, who was involved in the case of illegal plastic breast surgery, which the doctor issued as oncological procedures.

According to the press service of the Shchadrinsky District Court of the Kurgan Region, in the summer of 2020, Yevgeny Zubov organized the hospitalization of three patients in the oncology department, having issued medical records of an inpatient patient with deliberately false information about the diagnosis on two of them, and the third was hospitalized without medical documents.

Knowing that the hospital does not have a license to perform plastic surgery, Realizing that due to the lack of training of personnel in conducting such operations, they endanger the life and health of patients, in violation of his official instruction, as well as the statute of the hospital, the oncologist surgeon organized together with the plastic surgeon one of the non-resident clinics, who is not an employee of the hospital and is not entitled to provide medical care in that institution, performing three plastic operations on breast endoprosthetics in violation of the main activity of the hospital in providing medical care, the court said.

He was assigned three years of deprivation of the right to hold certain positions. The case was examined in a special order, without examining the evidence.

The Department of Health of the Kurgan Region explained to Ura.Ru that they learned about the crimes from law enforcement agencies. The Department assisted in the investigation of the criminal case.^[1]
