The Barclays Capital investment bank, division of Barclays Bank PLC, announced the decision to construct the third global development center and technical support in Kiev in addition to two already acting in Singapore and Prague. The EPAM Systems company, the largest and most competent developer of the custom software in Eastern Europe, was selected by the partner for construction and management of the most modern and safe IT center from Ukraine where by the end of 2012 the team of 500 IT professional will work.

A choice for benefit of Ukraine was made thanks to existence in the country of enough IT specialists with excellent technical training and analytical skills. Investment into the Kiev center will give the chance of Barclays Capital further to diversify geography of the employees, having increased their number around the world up to 800 IT professional in 2010 with perspectives of further growth in the next years.

The Kiev center created by ERAM Systems was completely integrated into the protected IT infrastructure of bank for ensuring smooth operation of business applications and providing support to business users of the numerous crucial systems of bank.
